Lost Saga

Lost Saga is a casual free-to-play 3D fighting game. Developed by I.O. Entertainment in Korea, Lost Saga officially launched its North American service on November 17, 2009 by OGPlanet and its Indonesian service by Gemscool.
However, as of February 18, OGPlanet has shut down their service for the North America and European Servers of Lost Saga. The company that will bring it back to life is WeMade USA (a subdivision of WeMade Entertainment), a company that is in close partnership with I.O. Entertainment. WeMade USA planned account transfers, but due to the lack of account data/information, transfers were not possible. The games release was intended to be on February 26th, however, on their Facebook page, the company stated that they would have to postpone the release to April 11, and apologized for this. WeMade USA plans to officially launch Lost Saga out of Open-Beta on May 2nd, 2013.

Mercenary

Characters in Korean Lost Saga are entitled "Mercenaries" or "Heroes" in KR, NA, EU, ID and TH versions. Mercenaries are divided into five different categories: Melee, Ranged, Magic, Special, and Premium. Players can purchase mercenaries from the in-game shop using pesos, the currency earned from battles, or earn their services for 2 hours when they reach the rank at which that mercenary is unlocked, with the exception of premium mercenaries, which can only be obtained through gold (KLS's cash currency), Astros (NALS's cash currency), Gcash (IDLS's cash currency) or through mercenary scrolls, which can be purchased for 3,000 pesos in the shop. (KR, NA, ID). Players may obtain as many mercenaries as their inventory slots allow. By default players are allowed 12 Mercenary Slots and more can be added by purchasing the slot item from the shop.
Once players place their mercenaries in the inventory they can switch between them by pressing number keys (this can be changed in the options menu). This method allows the players to freely change into different mercenaries during gameplay, but only if the mercenary that is currently in use has 4 gears equipped (this is not to be confused with style items e.g. hair).
In addition, "epic gears" are mercenary equipment with an alternative design. They enhance the game by allowing players to equip different gears to the mercenaries they've hired. However, epic weapons can only be equipped to their corresponding mercenary. Epic gears provide not only a change of costume, but a stat boost that varies with each gear. The gear's skill, however, does not change. Premium mercenaries do have epic gears, but they don't look different from the original ones (With the exception of Sol's epic weapon). There are also special gears titled "legendary gears". Unlike epic gears, these gears do not correspond to any existing mercenary. As such, most legendary gears have no alternate design and there are no legendary weapons. Legendary gears may also use multiple skills in one gear e.g. jumpers and some come in multiple designs e.g. bunny ears (pink and black).

Brawl Busters

Brawl Busters is a free-to-play Online Multiplayer Action video game developed by Korean developer, SkeinGlobe, and published by Toronto-based publisher, Rock Hippo Productions, for the PC. The game was officially released on December 15, 2011.

Brawl Busters, "formerly known as Project Plan B", is an action brawler that features competitive and co-operative battle modes all in a third person view. "With its simple and intuitive controls, this easy to pick up and play game makes team strategy a must as player's battle against each other or team up against computer controlled enemies". Brawl Busters also features a tutorial, various missions, leaderboards and stats tracking.
The game has received positive feedback since its initial announcement. "Regular updates have been flowing to the game from the developers and they are already promising more, in the form of more game modes and additional maps."
Rock Hippo Productions has released a series of Brawl Busters Lessons to familiarize players with the game. The Lessons, showcasing the five character classes and more, have already been released. More are planned in the future.

Character Classes

Brawl Busters features five different character classes, called Busters, including the Firefighter, the Rocker, the Boxer, the Blitzer, and the Slugger. The game offers seven maps and a wide variety of character customization options.

Firefighter

Firefighter handles a fire hose to spray nearby opponents with a powerful blast of water. Slow-moving firefighters have a high HP rating and their secondary attack has the longest range in the game. Their special attack creates a temporary defensive barrier.

Rocker

Rockers have a high movement rating and are great all-around combatants. They can either swing their guitar for deadly combos, or strike stunning musical chords for their secondary attack. The rocker's area of effect special attack clears out opponents in a flash.

Boxer

Boxers are the fastest busters but also have the lowest HP rating. They use boxing gloves to throw powerful punches or charge at opponents fist-first as their secondary yarack. The special attack is a wind-up punch which launches flaming gloves damaging opponents in front of a boxer.

Blitzer

Blitzers, with the highest HP rating, are great at fighting multiple enemies. Armed with the football, they tackle their way through opponents or perform a touchdown move as the secondary attack. The special attack lunges them forward in a spin-move followed by a powerful slam.

Slugger

Wielding a baseball bat, sluggers are effective long-range fighters. They can either swing wildly at their enemies or launch deadly guided baseballs as their secondary attack. A slugger's special attack, one of the strongest in the game, drives a super-charged baseball at the enemy team.

Team and Versus Modes

Brawl Busters offers a Team and Versus Mode, which as of the 16th update was expanded to up to 16-player brawls.

Ace Online

Ace Online and Air Rivals are free-to-play massively multiplayer online game (MMOG), 3D shooter, developed by MasangSoft and owned by YD Online Corp.

In North America, the game was previously released as Space Cowboy Online. Space Cowboy Online's client was made available for download in May 2006.
The Gala-Net version of Space Cowboy Online, was shut down on December 26, 2007. This was announced to the public with a letter from Space Cowboy's last active GM, "Xarfox". Yedang, the owner of Ace Online's license, decided to run its servers themselves, as Ace Online International.
In November 2008, Yedang also shut down the Global version which they hosted, presumably due to lack of players.
Ace Online is known as AirRivals in the European versions. Originally, the European version was going to be called Flysis, but the name was later changed. In Vietnam the game is called Phi Doi.
Gameforge GmbH and Suba Games are currently hosting the European and North American versions of the game respectively, although both also cater to players worldwide and have an international playerbase.
Arario Corporation has acquired the license to host ACE Online in Japan and launched sometime in the first quarter of 2009.
In 2011, the first release date for the Episode 4 release for the North American Ace Online was given. It was released on November 15th 2012.
In February 2011, Axeso5 officially opened the first Latin American ACE Online server.

Gameplay

In Ace Online, players pilot their own individual starfighters (called "Gears") throughout a number of maps, including terrestrial, lunar, and space maps. It has typical MMORPG elements such as leveling, currency, a skill system and combat mostly based on player equipment and level. Ace Online is a largely player vs. player-oriented game (PvP), with character leveling and item acquisition achieved through combat against non-player characters and the completion of missions. After completion of certain missions, more maps will be accessible to the player. Although a high level character will have better character attributes than most other players, no one at any level is invincible against other players in PvP. As in other MMORPGs, players can trade items, customize their gears, form parties ("formations") and guilds ("brigades"), and fight with other players via PvP combat. Almost all of the combat in Ace Online is aerial, from the third-person view. Players have the option to use an in-cockpit, first-person view.
When players create their account, they can choose their fighter, each with different play styles.

Item shop and enchantments

Ace Online is a free-to-play MMO, with the option of buying in-game items via an "Item shop" that can be only accessed whilst in the "Hub City" or "Supply Shop" from bottom right corner of the screen or the shop. In the International Ace Online version, a player can only purchase the items from the "Item shop" using yecoins that has been bought through Yedang website via a Ace Online account. There are many items available to purchase that affect sgear's weapons (e.g. change the trail effect of the missiles), stats (e.g. resets or partial resets of stats), experience (e.g. increase experience rate) or others for a limited time. This item shop was made available to players on June 23, 2006.
The Cash Shop also includes "Weapon Gamble", "Enhancements", Enchant Protection" and "Legending" services. Weapon Gamble allows weapons to be "gambled" and enchanted. This card randomly gambles the weapon stats with prefix and suffix to add extra attributes to the weapon. "Enhacements" affect a player's weapons and armor, to boost performance such as having faster missiles, higher rate of fire or damage. To limit the power of weapons and armour, only five enchantments can be applied safely to a piece of equipment. For the sixth enchant and onward there is a chance to break the weapon.

Nation War

Ace Online offers a PvP system of "Nation Wars", which revolves around a point system: "National Contribution Points" (NCP). The two nations in question are Bygeniou City United (BCU) and Arlington National Influence (ANI). Every time an enemy gear is shot down, the shooter's nation gains 1 NCP. NCP are also gained for other events, such as Strategic Points, Mothership wars, and Arena battles. Arena battles usually give a small amount of NCP compared to Strategic Points and Mothership wars.
  • Raids - Two factions (BCU and ANI) are separated by a series of airspaces (maps). Nation Wars involve a constant battle between the two factions to raid and defend these airspaces. A successful raid gaining airspace over the opposing force provides strategic and economical advantages. For example, the boss "Pathos" only spawns in the BCU map "Zaylope Beach"; whoever controls "Zaylope Beach" would have the chance to destroy it and receive its rare drops if "Pathos" should spawn. Battling over these airspaces often results in tens to thousands of NCPs gained for neither or both nations, speeding up the spawning of motherships (see below for motherships). A map being held by a large enemy force means restricted access for lower level players, meaning they can not access and level up in that specific map.
  • Skirmishes - Random, unorganized battles, often on neutral maps. They are a major source of fame and nation points. The one and only objective in these wars is to kill as many of the opposing nation as possible. Team strategy and things that grant the win in mothership wars and occupation wars is practically disregarded. These wars are often started by a single gear going into the enemy territory. The nation leader will then tell of this intruder and send people to respond to it. The intruder will then likely request reinforcements. If one nation is either outnumbered or outgunned, or if more people decide to come, more will come to the map. These wars are some of the most popular amongst players.
One of the most popular areas for these unorganized battles is "Bark City". Usually within bark city someone may alert that BCU are killing the NPCs of Bark City or that they are in fact killing the few ANI that go there, as more ANI show up, more BCU also show up.
  • Mothership Battles - This is another part of Nation Wars, the nation leader (elected every month) chooses when the offensive Mothership spawns every week. At the time what the leader chooses the mother ship is spawned deep in the homelands of the opposing nation. If the mothership is not completely destroyed in two hours, it will despawn. Successful destruction of the enemy mothership grants the attacking nation a 5% increase in recovery rate of energy, shield, and skill points, also allowing access to the "Hornian King Habitat" and "Eopi". Successfully defending a mothership does not grant the defender any bonuses; instead, it prevents the enemy from receiving the reward. The BCU mothership, Anubis, spawns in Tylent Jungle, while the ANI mothership Horus spawns in Reynard Beach. Bonuses obtained from destroying/defending motherships are reset at the end of every month, as are NCP's. The fourth MotherShip of each side that spawns also gives a special reward.
  • Strategic Points - Strategic Points are spawned in a random map at random times, and it will despawn one hour after its spawn if not destroyed completely. An announcement is made to all players of both factions of the map the Point has spawned in. When a Strategic Point is destroyed, all participants in the assault force gains a "SPI Capsule", which contains a monetary reward to both the player and their nation and 300 War Points. When a Strategic Point is successfully defended until despawn, the defender gains bonuses. Any nation's player that still loses the Strategic Point while being one map before/after the location of the Strategic Point will still gain 100 WP. All players that are in the map of the Strategic Point, or one map before it will gain 'Personal Contribution' which is a monetary reward based on the player's performance in combat.
  • War Points- Players can gain War Points from attacking/defending Mother Ships, and Strategic Points. War Points can also be obtained in battles with another nation. War Points allow players to buy unique items from the Point Shop. These points can be used to buy stronger adhesives, armors, and other bonuses.
  • Nation Leader- Every month players who are level 60 or higher, have 1000 fame and they own a brigade (a brigade is like a clan or guild in other MMO's) with at least 15 people in it and the brigade has at least 1000 fame. When all the players who want to be leader sign up the rest of the nation can vote who they want to be leader, and winner will be the nation leader until the next election, in a month. The nation leader of each side (ANI and BCU) gets a leader mark, and the leader adhesive, this gives them a defensive bonus, the leaders have a light green name for easy identification and they get war funds, that is, money given to the leader to help the nation's economy. The leader can also choose two sub-leaders, who can help them lead the nation. The leader is the one that can set the time when the enemy Mothership spawns, but this time cannot be changed on the same week as the preset time from before.
  • Grinding Maps- Although players on the BCU side and ANI side are enemies, in some maps they will coexist and not kill each other very often, this happens mostly in grinding maps, maps where many will go to kill enemies, although this coexistence between BCU and ANI is not a rule within the game it has evolved as becoming part of the nature of the game.

Duels

Players can challenge other players in an 1 on 1 duel, or a formation battle (up to 6 players per formation).
  • 1 on 1 - A 1 on 1 duel can be initiated by challenging another player and that player accepting the challenge, and vice versa. In a 1 on 1 duel, the two participants receive a 5 second warning, after which there is an unlimited amount of time to kill the other player; should one of the players die under any circumstance (being shot down by the other player in the duel, crashing into terrain objects, being killed by a member of the opposing nation, or being killed by a hostile NPC) then the surviving player is declared the winner; being disconnected results in a loss for the disconnected player, and moving to a different map will result in a loss, even if a player uses "Express city return portal" to teleport back to the city.
  • Formation Battle - A formation battle can be initiated by the command /formfight [formation leader]. A formation battle can only start if all members of both formations are in the same map, logged on, and the formation leader accepting the challenge. Once a formation battle request is sent, no new players may be invited to the formation; existing formation members cannot be kicked; and the formation may not disband. A formation battle is won when all members of the opposing formation have been eliminated under any circumstance. When one member of a formation dies while the rest are still alive, they cannot respawn until the formation battle ends in either win or loss.

Audition Online

Audition Online (Korean: 오디션 온라인), also known as X-BEAT in Japan, popularly called AyoDance in Indonesia, is a downloadable multiplayer online casual rhythm game produced by T3 Entertainment. It was originally released in South Korea in 2004, but it has been localized by various publishers around the world. Audition Online is free to play but it earns its revenue by selling virtual items such as clothes for the player's avatar.
In South Korea, PSP (called Audition Portable) and cellphone versions were released on June 1, 2007 and June 4, 2007 respectively.
On June 12, 2008, Season 2 was first officially released in Korea. Currently, Korean Audition, China Audition, Thailand Audition, Indonesian Audition, AuditionSEA, AuditionEu, Vietnam Audition, Philippines Audition, North American Audition, Brazil Audition, X-BEAT have updated to Season 2. Audition Season 2 features a new interface, sound system, expressions, and many new features.
During Fall 2008, Audition 2, the sequel, was discovered to be in the making. On April 28, 2010, closed beta has officially begin.

Audition's popularity began in South Korea and global versions of the game. In 2008, Bugs Corporation discontinued the server. Noticing the increasing popularity of the game, T3 Entertainment and Yedang Online began localizing it in other regions including China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, North America, Thailand, Taiwan, South East Asia, Vietnam, Brazil, United Kingdom, and Remaining European Countries. The Asian and North American versions remain the most popular, with millions of members registered.
In the Philippines, the game's popularity has given rise to the term audista to refer to frequent players.

Gameplay Features

A player is allowed to create a room or join a room. The 'DJ' (the player who creates the room) is given power to choose songs and settings for the room. The DJ also has the power to kick people out of the room and close the dance floor off however; this cannot be permanent. The song's BPM (beats per minute) usually will determine the song's difficulty and speed(with certain exceptions e.g. beat up mode).
The basic game is played by pressing the arrows displayed on the screen (with the exception of red Chance arrows, which the player must do the opposite of) and pressing spacebar or the control key on every 4th beat of the song. The more accurately the spacebar or control key is pressed, the higher the score, "PERFECT" being the best, "GREAT" and "COOL" still counted as good enough, "BAD" you will get very little score, and for "MISS" as the worst one, no score. If you get a "MISS" you will not get the chance to play for the next move. The player currently with the most points during the game will have their character in front and the most visible part of the stage.
A special move during most gameplay modes is the "Finish Move", can be said the hardest move. If a person does not miss the move before it, they have the option to do the "Finish Move". Finish moves issue a lot of points and can often be the key to success.
When a player does 2 or more PERFECTs consecutively, he will get bonus points for doing so. These PERFECT combos (or "Perfect chains") enable players to interfere with the opposition. A blue circle indicates that you made a PERFECT in your move, and acts as a shield. When a player performs a PERFECT X1 (or perfect X2 in some cases) they will make either the player ahead or behind them receive a yellow circle. While under the yellow circle, points will not be given if that person does not achieve a PERFECT (in a finish move it reduces a percentage rather than the whole move). In addition, players can increase their points by playing 'chance'. This can be activated by pressing the delete key or the . key on the number pad whereby red keys appear and players have to press in the opposite direction of the red keys. At the end of the dance battle, the person with the most points is the winner. Each player will receive experience points and Den/BEATS according to what position they finished in.
If a single/group game (not including NPC, One-Two Party and Beat Up modes) is full, while also having the music set to random, a random event (also called a mission) will occur. This is where bonuses are given if you accomplish a certain challenge. Examples are not getting a specific beat judgment (e.g. no COOLs or no BADs), getting perfect combos (e.g. PERFECT X3), or getting a standing (e.g. getting number 1). The music can be random, random(new), or random from any range of tempos.

Chance levels (not available in all versions)
There are chance levels from 1 till 6. With the addition of Chance levels, the DJ can now set a standard number of red (opposite keys) arrows a player will face when they use the chance mode. The choices range from 0 to 6. Alternatively, the DJ can select the free chance mode which will allow players to cycle through the levels at their leisure, or random level chance where a random amount of red chance keys appear per move (ranging from 1 to 6). The more red steps a player clears, the more points they will score. The ability to choose your own level of difficulty adds a new level of strategy and can greatly stratify scores between weak and strong players. In addition, whether or not players are using chance and their current chance level are displayed next to player scores during the game. There is also a random chance option, which gives you a random amount of keys with chance on a turn. When random chance is on, it gives no indication on the sidebar or on the screen which keys will be chance in the next turn or currently.

New chance system (not available in all versions)
Korean Audition has expanded the original Chance system with three new Chance Modes for normal room. These are: Double chance (Certain notes double, up to 6, display as Yellow notes), Bomb Chance (Bombs appear between notes, players are not allowed to make mistake as one wrong press will cause the bombs to explode, resulting instant miss) and Perfect chance (Scoring Perfect will reduce notes in the move, up to 3). Dynamic Chance is also available to every mode instead of only Crazy-9 like before. As of March 8, 2012, Redbana Audition now also has these three chance modes.

Insane system (not available in all versions)
This feature will add another Judgment, the Insane Perfect. The Insane Perfect gives approximately 3x higher score than Perfect and it'll give you a Score bonus. The score bonus depends on the judgment "blocked" after each insane perfect. Once the Insane is activated, the score bonus will set to +50%, but you will be blocked to achieve BAD judgment anymore, thus you'll miss. After getting a judgment higher that BAD except Insane Perfect, the score bonus is will set to +100%, but this time, you can't achieve COOL judgment too anymore, and after that, +200% score bonus in exchange of GREAT judgment, this will be the time that you'll need to have Perfect/Insane Perfect or you'll miss automatically. Misses gained from Insane's fault will still be counted but you'll be able to dance instantly after the miss, unlike regular miss that you'll have to wait 1 move bar to dance again. If you missed because of Insane in the Finish move, you'll won't miss it but there's no score. The key to success in Insane Mode is to keep your Insane Time as long as possible: Passing block-requirement with lowest result will advance to the next block-requirement, but if you can hit Insane Perfect, it stays back (Say, when the block-requirement is BAD, you hit Great and it advances to COOL, but if you hit Insane Perfect, the next one will still be BAD). There is also a bug from some servers that allow players to enter Insane Mode if they just ignore the key note and time their Space to hit Insane Perfect Point (Which resulting in MISS, but it still activate Insane Mode). Insane System is also known as "The Killer of Old Replays", which rendered all older replays saved before Insane Update corrupted. Older replays can still be viewed, but the players won't dance and always score Insane Perfect without hitting any notes (Even though the final score board still displays real result from that match). This bug has never been fixed, and players unaware of it have to accept that they lost all old replays, unless they record videos for them first.

Microphone function (Korean Audition)
There are designated servers that allow players to interact within the game using a microphone. Settings are available for the player to set whether he/she wants to be muted or adjust the volume.

Auto-Repairing client (Korean Audition)
To help foreign players dealing with client damaging, accidentally or deliberately, Korean Audition has offered Auto-Repairing Client, which is upgraded from the old Data Fixing feature introduced in Season 2. Whenever a new patch arrives and is completed, a repairing client will come up. The Auto - Repairing Client button is not on the patcher anymore.

Second Password (PIN) (Not available to all versions)
Due to HTTP login system in Korean Audition, there is now a second password (PIN code) in-game to help protecting players' account. Upon starting the game, players will have to enter a 6-digital PIN code using on-screen keypad. If a player did not create PIN code, the same keypad will appear prompting him/her to set up PIN code.

Server-side exclusives
Different Audition Online servers around the world have their own unique features added-in for gameplay modification and visual enhancements:
  • Korea, Indonesia, China and Vietnam - Lyrics, Commercial Stages
  • Korea, China - In-game text fonts
  • Vietnam - Playing Time Limitation System
  • America - EXP x3 and BEATS x3 cards
Updates
Because the Korean Audition is developed by a Korean company, it is updated more often and is the first to see new features. The server currently has more features, like cellphones, exclusive events, or micro function - some are unique and not available in any other servers like the Commercial Stage Basic House and Lafesta Audition Guinness Event. The bonus options were designed due to high demand. However, the gameplay features (dance moves, songs, modes, etc.) are regularly added based on updates. Depending on the update rate as well as the size of the update, different versions will have different number of gameplay features.

Window Mode (Not available in Chinese Classic)
Originally, Audition did not support window mode to prevent hacking tools and bugs that could crash the game. However, this feature was highly requested by Audition players and many tried third-party programs to force the game into window mode. When Season 2 was released, it also featured an official window mode. Hack prevention programs and functions are also implemented to prevent hacking tools from being used.

Ctrl + Tab (not available in all version)
Previously belonged to Korean Audition only, this feature is now slowly available on popular servers. During any time while playing or viewing Replay, players can hit CTRL + TAB to hide everything off the screen, so there is only characters dancing on the stage. This makes snapshot, dance route demonstrations, chroma keying... much easier and nicer to make - however, some servers don't hide all stuffs when using CTRL + TAB. For example, HK Audition still has song name, time and time bar on screen and Vietnam Audition still displays Global Announcement. Newer Game Modes like The Fiery Concert and Space Pang Pang also don't support CTRL + TAB.

Real-Time Song Download function (Korean Audition)
As of the patch on January 8, 2009, Korean Audition now uses a new method for players to receive the song files. Songs are no longer included in patches and the songs that come with the installation has been reduced. The songs are now downloaded from the server when you play the song. Once a song is automatically downloaded, it will not be downloaded again except old songs in ABM format that requires redownload every time you play it. An exception is the newly released Guitar Mode, which requires two separate TBMs per song. One is the original music and the other is a guitar solo beat. The songs' notes are linked with these TBMs, so whenever a song gets updated, players will need to redownload the two TBMs again. Also due to being integrated all songs into an AMP file, this feature became big problem with players using unstable connections. This is because once a downloaded song became corrupted somehow, you can never play it, and since the game doesn't have option to force song redownload, the only way to fix broken song is deleting music.amp, meaning you will have to wipe out all working songs to just fix some broken songs.

Fast room-making (Korean Audition)
This feature is actually used to introduce new game modes rather than the old "New" sign when making room. Instead, player can click an icon at the Channel select screen, then the game will process to enter a channel, make the room for them to play in just a moment.

Best Friend Forever event (Korean Audition)
A long-time event that's exclusive to Korean Audition, allowing two players to pair up and train their Best Friend Forever (BFF) levels to earn cash (in-game money), by playing and leveling up their character. Each level requires different amount of matches played and in-game hours spent, and once the requirement is meet, the two players will receive Event cash and process to the next level. BFF level can be upgraded alone but two players playing together will make it faster to process to the next level. As of May 16, this system has been changed because the cash given out is too high that many players try to cheat/auto to abuse this system. Now, BFF contains only 10 level and will reset 10 times before players can no longer earn any cash (The maximum they can get now is 397000 cash). In addition, both players are required to play in same room to add the last 10% progress. Every time players reached level 10 BFF, both will get 5% EXP/DEN bonus for 30 days. After maximizing BFF level, both players receive 50% EXP/DEN bonus for 90 days.

Daily Mission (Korean Audition)
This is a sub-section of the Big Game and Story Mode, currently only available in Korean Audition. Like many RPGs, there are two missions everyday that players can complete to earn x2 EXP card and a random item - the condition is somewhat similar to Big Game and Story Mode (Winning in a full room, playing a specific mode with three or more players...), but there is no in-game indication that a player has completed the mission or not, they have to check the calendar using the Thumb-Up button while in the Lobby. If a player completes all the missions in one month, they will receive a random Pet or DJ booth.

Time System (Korean Audition)
New feature updated in Korean Audition recently, this system keeps track of how long a player has been playing since the moment they logged in. The more time players spend in game, the more level it will advance (Max level: 13) and they can exchange their level for gift boxes or discount card. If the player gets disconnected, he/she then has 10 minutes to login before the system is reset. Once players exchange their level, the Time System will also reset.

Triple Mission Pack (Korean Audition)
This is a series of Missions given to newbie players (Level 10 or under) in order to encourage them to play Audition and make friends. The first mission requires players to play in 21 days, after each 7 days they can receive a gift (30% discount card or Exchange card). The second mission requires players to play 100 rounds (excluding Tournaments) to receive a gift (30% discount card or Exchange card). The third mission requires players to add 10 friends (Each one will show up as an emoticon in the mission report page to receive a gift (30% discount card or Exchange card)

New Macro System (Not available in Chinese Classic)
The macro system was altered to make it simple to change even for new players. The player now has the option of manually editing the file from the macro.txt document in their Audition game folder or simply by going into the messenger options and changing it through there. The new macro system also allows players to save their macros to the server's database and allow them to use them on another computer.

New Emoticons System (Not available in Chinese Classic)
One of the best thing for chit-chat, the Emoticons System, has been updated in Audition Season 2. The players can now select various Emoticons to enter with chat text, by either hitting CTRL + E and pick the Emoticon manually, or use short-cut text-to-emoticon conversion (I.E ;kiss, ;win...) The text-to-emoticon conversion also affected room name and players' name, so new players can enter prefix with his/her IGN in order to display as Emoticon in Lobby / Ranking Board User List. Players can also buy new Emoticons Set at Fashion Mall for more personalize exposing, but these sets are not sold for infinite time usage. There is also Motion System that's available separately from Emoticon System, which requires players to buy each icon from the mall and then use the "M" button to choose and express that icon. The motion icon will display above character's head.

New Dress Room System (Not available in all versions)
A mini wardrobe is now available in game room, allowing players to change their character's clothes without having to go to Fashion Mall. Instead, just click an Icon near ATV Icon and Clothes Wardrobe will open up. While picking new clothes, a small Dress Room shows up at the players' position and disappears after he/she made choice - new clothes are now changed! You can also change Accessories and Guitar inside the dressing room (Not available in all versions).

New Big Game System (Not available in all versions)
Upgrading from the old Big Game feature, now random events are viewable and limited to "Missions" like Story Mode. Not only Normal Dance, Big Game now applies to Beat-Up, One-Two Party and Beat-Rush and the players can press F10 to see Big Game Status Screen or display Big Game Condition if occurred during the match. However, some of the Big Game Conditions are way ridiculous and close to impossible to beat (i.e. 0 great, more Bads than Misses [Beat-Up]...). The Hidden missions will be unlocked after succeeding the requirement given (e.g. unlock story 1,3,7 and 9). Those Requirements are in patters like Page 1: X pattern, Sides pattern and Cross pattern. The hidden mission bar can be seen in the User info inside the room. Some of the prices in Missions are Fam Points, Dens/Beats, EXP and Bulletin Pts.

New Practice System (Not available in all versions)
Beside the old Practice Mode available only in Novice Channel for lv 1 - lv 5 players, Clubaudition now implemented a new Practice System for almost all modes. When players join a room and choose to "Watch", they are also given the notes / rhythm bars to practice pressing 'n' hitting. Their result won't be logged to replay, but they can earn up to 200 DEN / Beat for each practicing.

New Playlist + BGM Playlist (Not available in all versions)
Every Audition Players have their own Favorites Song Lists, and playing Random would be too boring if they want to pick their songs that way. So the Playlist is now available, allowing each players to save their own Favorites songs into a Mini Album, so they can choose it quickly (Up to 100 songs). Also, the old BGM Playlist has been upgraded: Players can now play, pause, stop, choose next/previous track, or jump to whatever songs in the list. The BGM song will also continue to play when players go to Shopping Mall or create/join room instead of changing to next track like the old BGM Playlist. Another welcomed feature is that Audition Players now have the option to make their own BGM Playlist - it works just like the official Playlist, but the songs are picked as players' favors, up to 30 songs. This update eliminates client-sided THDs for Lobby songs, so Private servers can no longer steal new songs from Official servers.

Master Ranking Record (Not available in all versions)
Considered to be the first online scoreboard in Audition, Master Ranking Record keeps track of players' result in The Fiery Concert mode as well as determining TFC players of the month. In order to compete in Master Ranking Record, player must join the Guitar Master channel (Vary depends on servers) and play with at least 2 other players in same room. Doing so will let Audition log their TFC result and sort their ranking on the scoreboard. Master Ranking Record resets each month, and top 3 players will randomly earn one of the nine prized Guitar (Mostly the Angel Guitar).

Matching card (Not available in all versions)
A.k.a. Personal card or similar, this feature let players create their own "Personal card" with various options like Age, Nationality, Blood type, Hobbies, Favorite Dance mode... so that they can find friends based on matching information. After setting the card, players can then point the mouse to any channel to see a percentage of matching dancers (Boys, girls or both, user-define) in that channel. When in the room, players can press "Confirm matches" button and, if another player matches the player's card, a messenger saying "Matching" will display above their head. Players can also compare card with other players in room via right click menu.

Club Dance 3 Matching Card Feature (Korean Audition and AuditionSEA)
In Club Dance 3, in the start when you choose your couple, they'll be a card on the bottom of the avatar, there will be information containing on your Matching Card. If you didn't apply for a Matching Card, no information will be shown.

New Love Party (Not available in all versions)
There is a small upgrade for the Love Party mode recently - while making room, the boy has an option to write a letter for his girl using the Envelope icon, and it will be displayed upon successfully passed Love Party. In addition to the Ballroom outfit set reward, the couple can now earn three new items: Red Rose Basket, Red Love Wings or Red bouquet of Rose, depends on how many attempts they spend to pass the Love Party.

Instant Matching Card (Removed)
This is a new feature that allows players to quickly find friends with same gaming hobby. As soon as players enter the game, they can click the button in top-left corner and choose a mode (Choreography 4k/8k, Crazy 4k/8k, Beat-Up 6k and TFC) as well as random BPM they want. The game will process to look for existing room - once found, players will be transported in there within 10 seconds. The room is created by system, so there is no DJ (It will start automatically after 60 seconds) and everything is set to default (In normal room, the default map is HipHop Avenue and Chance Reverse level 3). After entering the room, players can talk with each other or if they don't like the room, they can leave and try again. The room will be kept open as long as there is one player inside. As of Korean Audition Update #6995(10-18-2012), this feature has been removed.

FAM
A fam is a function brought along with the Fam Office. It works very similarly to guilds in other games. In order to create a fam, the creator must meet the requirements of Lv. 21 or greater, and 1,000,000 DEN/Beats (not the same on all versions). The leader may then purchase a variety of Fam Office-based items including a home, clock, notice sign, and a forum ranging in price from 100,000 DEN/Beats to 2,000,000,000 DEN/Beats. If the leader wishes, he or she may add members to the fam that would then be permitted to donate DEN/Beats, and assist in earning Fam Points.
The fam leader is given the ability to purchase a channel for gaining Fam Points (which determine the ranking of the fam). He or she may pay 100,000 DEN/Beats for 2 hours of channel time, 200,000 DEN/Beats for 4 hours, and 300,000 DEN/Beats for 6 hours. The amount of DEN/Beats and time may vary depending on the server. When creating a game in the purchased channel, any fam member will receive 1 Fam Point per person in the room, therefore a total of 6 per full room. A fam room is indicated by a green FAM icon beside the room name.
There are three classes/rankings in total: Fam Leader, indicated with a red title, Fam Mod/Secondary Owner, indicated with a blue title, and a regular member, indicated with a green title. Promotion can only be done by the fam leader.
Fam Battles are started when a leader creates a fam battle room and waits until 3 members out of two different fams enter the battle room. The team then challenges one another to a regular game, with rules set by the fam with the DJ member.

Family
The mini-section of FAM office, allowing dancers to create their own "family" with a maximum of 10 players, divided into 5 couples. There are two families with three ranks: Father / Mother, Son / Daughter and Grandson / Granddaughter - the 2nd-generation links the two families together. Family Studio is available for the Family to take pictures with every members have their specified position in the Studio.

Shopping Mall

Like many microtransaction-based online games, Audition features a shopping mall in which players can customize the look of their character. Players may choose from a variety of hairstyles, shirts, pants, shoes, faces, and miscellaneous items. The game uses an in-game currency called Den or Beats, depending on the version.
In addition to Den and Beats, players can use the Cash system by purchasing it through the publisher's website. Different forms of payment are used to obtain cash, including PayPal, M-Payment, and various prepaid cards. Cash can be used to purchase a wider variety of items from the mall, such as pets, DJ stands, guitars, emoticons, fonts, accessories, and far more clothing.
Couple shop is the special section in Audition Mall, allowing only dancers that have married to enter and both must be logged in the same channel. This shop sells special couple clothes and pets that are not available in normal shop, but only up to 30 days because couple might not last forever. In addition, new rings, love licenses and couple rooms are in stock here, though the couple might need proper couple level to purchase some items.

Ghost Online

Ghost Online also known as Ghost Soul and GO is a free fast paced action-based sidescrolling, massively multiplayer online game that is currently released in South Korea, Japanese, Chinese, Thailand and Malaysian-English. On July 8, the Global version went into Open Beta, but was closed down on June 3, 2009. Created by Netgame, which is a division of MGame USA Inc.(Taiwan and China 搞鬼 is a free, 2D computer graphics, side-scrolling MMORPG developed by the Korean company MGame. Several versions of the game are available for specific countries or regions, and each is published by various companies such as GameFlier, Gemscool and OurGame. Although playing the game is free, many player appearances and gameplay enhancements can be purchased from the GhostShop using real currency.
In the game, players defend the "World" from ghost monsters and develop their character's skills and abilities, as in typical role-playing games. There is a soul system that allows players absorb souls from monsters. Players can interact with others in many ways, such as through chatting, trading. Groups of players can band together in parties to hunt monsters, and share the rewards. Players can fight each other with the game PvP system. Players can also band in a guild to battle with other guilds. Ghost Online also many quests, some of which allow the player to obtain new skills.

Lord Tai He and his apprentices rid the world of Demons, but Tai He himself had used forbidden magic that corrupted his soul. So he had to go to the western lands, to find the sacred herb to cleanse them. The player is Tai He for a short time, learning the basics in Batu Caves. After defeating a clone, Tai He eats the herb, dies and is reborn as your character.

Gameplay

There are six character classes in the game. The main source of gold (in-game currency) and experience points are the monsters in the game. They are found in most fields outside of the cities and towns, and portals leading to maps with monsters (usually from town) are colored red.

Ragnarok Online

Ragnarök Online (Korean: 라그나로크 온라인, alternatively subtitled The Final Destiny of the Gods), often referred to as RO, is a Korean massive multiplayer online role-playing game or MMORPG created by GRAVITY Co., Ltd. based on the manhwa Ragnarok by Lee Myung-jin. It was first released in South Korea on 31 August 2002 for Microsoft Windows and has since been released in many other locales around the world. The game has spawned an animated series, Ragnarok the Animation, and a sequel game, Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of the Second. Player characters exist in a world with a player environment that gradually changes with the passage of time. Major changes in the features and history of the world take place as episodes in the RO timeline. Player characters interact in a 3D environment but are represented by 2D character sprites for front, back, side and diagonal facings. The major types of server-supported gameplay are Player vs Environment, Guild vs Guild, Player vs Player. Also supported by the game server are Group vs Group, Arena Combat, Player vs Monster, Player vs All, and various other specific scenarios at designated instance locations in the game world. NPC-run challenges and contests are also available with prizes, awards, and/or listing in a specific hall of fame listing.

Ragnarok Online is divided into a series of maps on two major continents, each of which has its own terrain and native monsters, though many monsters are present in multiple regions. Transportation between maps requires loading the new map and monsters are unable to travel from one map to another unless directly associated with the player such as a pet, mount, or hireling.
There are three major nations in Ragnarok Online, the first of which and where all players start is the kingdom of Rune Midgard. The Schwaltzvalt Republic, an industrialized neighbor to the North, was added in Episode 10 and Arunafeltz, a religious nation is the subject of Episode 11.
Areas from Norse mythology are included, such as Niflheim, the land of the dead, and Valhalla, where players can become Transcendent Classes. New map content is constantly being added to game in the form of Episode updates.
The official Ragnarok Online servers underwent massive game system changes in 2010, which has been titled "Renewal". Renewal revamped game mechanics, changed the behavior and interaction of stats, gears, and modifiers in the stat system, changed the way and amount of character experience, and introduced the 3rd Job Classes. There are various other changes that come with Renewal, including interface and hotkey alterations, as well as skill changes.
Renewal has different versions, according to the server it is being implemented in. The 2 major versions are called the kRO (Korean Raagnarok Online) and jRO (Japanese Ragnarok Online), titled after the server in which the version was created. The differences between each version were made by the corresponding branch of Gravity in order to please their players, rather than having an overall brand of Renewal, which might only please a minority.

City/Town Activities

Within the many cities and towns, there are many activities that players can participate in. Usually, there will an Eden Teleport Officer and several Kafra Employees throughout the city. Eden Teleport Officers work for an organization called the Eden Group that allows players to sign up for quests and submit them for rewards. Kafra Employees help players by providing storage and teleport services for a small fee. These two NPCs are very important to the development of characters in the game.
In addition, every town will have the usual stores and shops where players can purchase and sell their items. The stores differ from city to city because each city is affiliated with a different job that players can choose from; therefore, the goods each sell are relatively for that particular job that the city is affiliated with. Furthermore, there usually will be dozens of other players sitting around selling and purchasing goods. It is good to take advantage of this because oftentimes, they will purchase goods for high prices while also selling very rare items.
There are also many side quests that players can choose to take on after speaking to certain NPCs. These side quests usually provide a unique reward that cannot be earned in any other way such as learning a new skill or receiving an extremely rare item. There are lots of things players can do inside every city so it's best to spend some time walking around and talking to all the NPCs.

Job system

"Jobs" are one of the most important aspects of Ragnarok Online. A player choice of job will determine his or her strengths and weaknesses both in a party and outside of one. The job system initially consisted of 13 classes, which has increased to over 50 via several updates. Each class specializes in certain skills corresponding to archetypes in a role-playing game. Additionally, numerous equipment are exclusive to particular classes. The greatness of the equipment depends on the character attribute status.
All players start as a "novice". As the name implies, the novice is a tutorial job that allows a new player to get the general feel of the game. Upon reaching a certain level which is dependent on their desired 'job', a player has 3 options:
  • he/she can change into one of six "first classes"
  • choose one of the "expanded classes", or
  • become a "Super Novice".
After increasing their 'player level' and 'job level' to a specific amount, first class characters can advance into their 'second class'. It should be noted that each separate class allows two options for the second class change. For example, the 'Swordsman' class can become either a 'Knight' or a 'Crusader'. Once a player reaches player level 99 and job level 50, they can 'rebirth' their character (not applicable to expansion classes and Super Novices). Rebirthing brings a character back to level 1 for both player level and job level. Reborn characters generally work the same as regular characters up until the second class. Instead of a second class, characters that are born can transcend to a new second job, different to those of a character that hasn't been reborn. These transcended job types have more skills and a larger number of 'stat points' to allocate to characters compared to second classes. The experience curve for transcendent jobs is significantly higher.
A player will evolve and change jobs multiple times over the course of playing, though the number of changes will be determined by choices made by the player.

Audio

The background music of Ragnarok Online currently consists of over 100 individual tracks, composed, arranged, recorded and mixed by SoundTeMP and Hankook Recording Studio, with some tracks by NEOCYON and others. The game's music spans a wide variety of genres, including trance, techno, jazz, rock, and orchestral. New tracks are added to the soundtrack as with every new area added to the game world.
"The memory of RAGNAROK" Ragnarok Online Original Sound Track is a best-of soundtrack album featuring selected background music in addition to remixes as well as vocal arrangements of certain pieces performed by Lee Seung-Yeon, Lee Jeong-Hee and Seo Ji-Hae. The game's official theme song, "You & I," is also included. It was developed by SoundTeMP and released by Gravity in 2006.
While Ragnarok Online is both developed and run by Gravity in South Korea, its various official overseas versions are licensed and run by regional ventures. This has led to a multitude of regional differences in the game, such as localized or translated text, special in-game events, and the payment model.

P2P servers

This is the original payment model pay to play. Depending on the version, users can pay by a monthly subscription or buy pre-paid cards. The iRO (International Ragnarok Online) server has switched completely to the F2P model supported by revenue from the in-game Kafra Shop.

F2P servers

There are official "Free To Play" servers where players can play Ragnarok Online free of charge, with a few differences in game play. Major differences are the limited use of the Kafra Teleport service, upgrading weapons and armor never have a "safe zone" in which the player cannot break the Weapon/Armor, items have had their costs changed or been removed entirely from the game, the Acolyte skill Teleport has been modified, and prices on certain NPC items received a moderate increase. Notably, characters may be any job class, access any map, attain all skills, wear any gear, and progress to all levels without payment of microtransaction fees. Changes vary from server to server. Some free to play servers also provide premium account plans with various ingame benefits.

The use of free servers has resulted in a higher reliance on the Kafra Shop item mall for revenue stream. Many localized versions of Ragnarok Online have implemented free servers during 2007-2008.

Kafra Shop

Microtransactions and virtual freemium shops have become an increasingly favored revenue stream over monthly subscriptions for online multiplayer games, especially in the Asian MMO market. As such, the Kafra Shop (an Item Mall) was added to the RO servers. Users are able to purchase Kafra Credit Points with local currency; the points can then be exchanged for items available only in the Kafra Shop. To avoid the negative perception of players buying their way to success, weapons and armors are not sold in the Kafra Shop with the exception of some fashionable or collectible hats which may have a small armor value so that they may continue to be worn as a compromise between normal headgear armor and fashion-statement hat accessories. Also, players can continue playing all the way to level 99, wear gears, train all applicable levels of their job class, and compete in events without ever purchasing from the Kafra Shop.
This service appears on most other localized servers of Ragnarok Online such as jRO (Japanese Ragnarok Online), mRO (Malaysian Ragnarok Online), pRO (Philippine Ragnarok Online), rRO (Russian Ragnarok Online) and kRO (Korean Ragnarok Online), using the currency of the respective countries for points. In addition, upgraded forms of normal equipment can be rented using Kafra Points.

Ragnarok Mobile

Gravity Co. Ltd. released 8 separate games for the mobile phone allowing players to experience the game on the road. Each version focuses on the main aspect of the super novice, acolyte, thief, merchant, mage, archer, gunslinger, taekwon, ninja, and swordsman classes based on the version of the game they have. Players are able to advance their characters using the attributes STR, AGI, VIT, LUK, INT, and DEX. Though not placed in the server, players control their character and complete a series of quests or tasks. As players earn zeny (the in-game currency) they are able to send the zeny to their real accounts. Also, a ranking is present where characters are ranked by the amount of zeny the character has.
Ragnarok Mobile Story Online was also released in Japan for Android and iOS, providing users with the traditional RO gameplay on a mobile platform. Due to trouble with development English support by developers has been dropped and support has been added for AndRO Rebellion of Valkyrie.
Ragnarok Online The Rebellion of Valkyrie is also on Android and iOS and has been translated into English It is a cross-platformer and playable by Android and iPhone users at the same servers.

GunBound

GunBound (Korean: 건바운드) is a free-to-play, turn-based, room-to-room, multiplayer online game with many similar features to the popular Worms game series.
GunBound was developed and is maintained by South Korean developer Softnyx. It is currently in its third major release, subtitled Season 2 internationally. It was called GunBound Revolution in North America with ijji as its host before it was shut down on July 24, 2009. The first major beta release was Thor's Hammer.

Gameplay

GunBound has turn-based artillery gameplay, bearing properties of two-dimensional games and ballistics-simulation games. In GunBound, players are assigned to two opposing teams which take turns firing at each other with vehicles called "Mobiles" in GunBound parlance. Each Mobile has three unique weapons, labeled "1", "2", and "SS" (Special Shot).
Factors like terrain condition, wind currents and elemental phenomena force players to continuously change their aim and trajectory power setting while rethinking their strategy at the same time. GunBound also implements a "delay" turn system which is influenced by the Mobile, the weapon and/or item a player uses—using items or taking time with actions results in a longer wait before the player's next turn.

Avatars

A user's character can be equipped with clothing and other items, termed Avatar Items, which provide additional statistical bonuses that will assist players in the game, except on specific servers where avatar bonuses are disabled. This adds an element of customization for players. Gold (the game's currency) earned from battles can be spent on these Avatar items. Avatars can also be bought using cash which can be bought using money from a credit card or cash using PayPal or mail (Gcoins). Most common avatars can be bought by gold, and very strong avatars by G Coin, but some can be bought with both.
In Gunbound International, avatars can be leveled up by enchanting, and this can only be done with Cash. The maximum level is currently 20. Each level boosts significant stats to the avatar.

Game modes

Solo

Each player has only one life during game play. Once dead, the deceased players access a three-in-a-row, rolling slots game in which they can gain gold, alter wind conditions (affecting the shots of still-living players), or drop randomly-chosen items or bombs from the sky.

Tag

Tag mode is similar to Solo mode with only one difference: Players are allowed two Mobiles at the beginning of a match. In this mode, each player is permitted to switch once per turn between his or her chosen primary and secondary Mobiles, each with its own health value (Initially, secondary Mobiles only have half of its total health. This, however, can be mended using Healing items). Players cannot switch Mobiles once dead.

Score

In Score mode, the objective is to kill or bunge opponents until the enemy life counter reaches zero. Bunging is when you can destroy the land around the opponent's area and cause him/her to fall. The lives allotted in Score mode relies on the amount of team players participating in a match. For a team composed of n players, there are (n + 1) lives. Lives are pooled between players in a team. A team wins if the opposition's life counter reaches zero, or if there are no more opponents left on the field. Dead players, upon dying, have a choice of their drop location and drop at that point in the field in a set amount of 4 turns after the point is chosen. Should a player not hit land, he or she will continue to fall and the team life counter will not go down, but instead cause the player to reselect the drop location and wait another 4 turns. The player's drop location is slightly affected by wind conditions.

Jewel

Participants are required to eliminate targets called Jewel (seen in the form of Raons). Each Jewel is assigned a point value for being destroyed. Point values include -5, 5, 10 and 25. Shots fired at the enemy will not cause damage, but can destroy land. Teams win the game by rounding up at least 100 points, or bunging (hitting the land underneath them until they drop down) their opponents until none are left.

Powerball

Same as Score mode, except that only the 'teleport' item is available. Instead, Powerballs representing the various items drop from the sky. Collecting the Powerball grants the corresponding item's ability. Different effects can be stacked. There are five Powerballs: Thunder Ball, Dual Ball, Gold Ball, Force Ball and Bomb Ball. The Thunder Ball will cause thunder to strike where the bullet lands when it is shot as if it went through a thunder storm in other circumstances. The Dual Ball acts as if the player had used a Dual item but does not affect delay. The Gold Ball increases the gold earned from completing certain feats. The Force Ball increases the damage done when hitting another player. The Bomb Ball is the only non-beneficial Power Ball and deals 100 damage to whoever it hits. The damage can stack when multiple Bomb Balls hit a player. Each player is allowed to have up to 4 bombs stacked at a time.

Items

Before the start of every game, the room master has the option to disable certain items from being used during that game. All or none of the items could be disabled. Items either take up one or two slots, and each player is allowed to acquire any combination of items as long as they fit in six slots. Generally, strong items take up two slots, while weak items take up one slot. There are currently four different types of items available. They are attack items, defensive items, weather item, and other items.
Attack items show the greatest variety; they can allow you to shoot twice (dual, dual+), boost the power of your shots (blood, power up), imbue your shots with lightning ability (thunderbolt), or blast away extra terrain (bunge shot).
Defensive items are healing items. They increase the health of your 'bot' upon usage. The bandage item takes up one slot and recovers about 10% with an extra 5% for biological bots. The First-aid kit item takes up two slots and recovers about 25% with an extra 5% for biological bots.
Weather item consists of only one item: Changing Wind, which switches the direction of the wind.
Other items consist of teleport (the player's bot will be teleported to the location of your next shot) and team-teleport (one player switches the location of his/her bot with a teammate).
In Gunbound International, Items 2 can be bought in the Avatar Shop. Most of them are only available with Cash, and the ones that can be purchased by gold are much weaker in comparison to the Cash ones.
Items 2, like Items 1, occupy 1-2 slots but not necessary based on their strength. Unlike Items 1, each slot can store as many of the same items as the player have.
By default, there's 12 slots for Item 2, and players can expand it by using Cash (available through the Avatar Shop). Items 2 are generally much more powerful than Items 1, in which some can completely block an opponent's attack or even completely bunge/kill the opponent(s) in just one turn.
As a result, Items 2 have received critical criticisms from majority of the players regularly throughout the years ever since it was first introduced. These are most commonly seen in the forums of Gunbound International official website.

Forces

In Gunbound, there are 11 force icons which could affect the projectile path or damage of a shot. These forces: are lightning (a circle with lightning symbol), tornado (a hurricane symbol), force (a sun symbol), thor (a thor symbol (that looks like a gun)), wind (a comet symbol), land (an ice pellet symbol), protection (a crescent moon symbol), ignorance (an eclipse symbol), dark force (a purple tornado symbol), joker force (a question mark symbol), and mirror force (a trapezoid mirror symbol). These forces cycle throughout the match and the number of times they appear depends on the map.
Lightning, force, mirror and thor add damage to your shot(s). Mirror also reflects any airborne shot that makes contact with it. Protection allows every player to gain some health. Mirrors (unlike other forces) do not reach from top to bottom. Instead, it starts at the bottom and its height depends on the map. Tornado changes the projectile's path. Wind changes the strength and direction of the wind. Land increases the destruction of land although the land icon is not in any of the current Gunbound maps. Ignorance disables the use of items and shield recovery while that icon remains active. Dark force decreases the damage of your shot by 50%.
The number of turns equals the number of player's shots before the next icon cycles through (including opposing players rounds); 1 vs 1: Every two turns; 2 vs 2: Every four turns; 3 vs 3: Every six turns; 4 vs 4: Every eight turns. Even if someone leaves the room it will still be the same number of turns before the moon disk changes.

FIFA Online

FIFA Online was a free-to-play massively multiplayer online football game which was announced in early January 2010 and later released on May 26 of that same year. It featured microtransactions which was affirmed by EA that "they would be optional and WOULD NOT have any impact on the specific gameplay".[citation needed] It started out with 30 leagues- (which meant that there would be 500 teams and 15,000 players available in the game) but was later updated to all of the current leagues and teams. Luna Online

Players can only participate on the continent Australia and in a limited zone in space around the Earth. Currently the player cannot go to the Moon or any colonies.

Despite the closing of the official server, community members have created their own private servers in an attempt to revive the game.

Seal Online

Seal Online (씰 온라인) is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing game, originally developed by the Korean company Grigon Entertainment. In February 2007 Publisher YNK acquired the rights for the game, and in January 2009, the game was moved to the internal studio YNK Games. As of 7 February 2008, official versions of the game are available in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, and the United States.
The English version of Seal Online was expected to be released in Q3 of Year 2005 when Grigon Entertainment announced that there would be an English version of Seal Online. An English website was made by them. However within 2 months, the site closed down and there were no more news of an English translated version of the game.
After two years, a website was created for Seal Online. It had a post announcing the arrival of Seal Online in English to the United States. The English Seal Online was finally released on the 19 November 2007 at 8pm EST by YNK Interactive.

Seal Online is mostly a point-and-click MMORPG; movement, combat, and many other commands are all controlled by mouse, though the combo system is done with the A, S, and D keys. The player can choose from 7 different classes to start with. However, if the player chooses to start with the Beginner, he/she can choose to job change into the other 6 classes when he reaches Level 10. 21 additional new classes were added in early 2009. The game experienced a wipe on the 27th of September 2010 bringing all players back to level 1.
Seal Online's travel system uses a method called 'Warp Gates'. These gates, located in various towns, allow the player to move to other maps. Players may use scrolls, set revive points, use the Wagon Driver NPC, or just type out a Teleport command for a small fee to warp to different maps.
Players can learn skills to trade, open or join a guild after completing a quest, open a chat room, create a party to fight monsters more effectively, open an in-game bank account to hold or collect more items and money, nurture a pet, do quests, and fish.
Seal Online's level up system uses a point method. Skills level up with skill points. Each time a player levels up, they receive a set number of skill points and status points, which they then may use to strengthen their character.
The Combo System is more complicated than most other MMORPGs. As a player attacks an enemy, the XP bar fills up. Once the bar is halfway filled, the player can start a combo by pressing the game's combo buttons. After starting a combo, players must press a combination of buttons. Combos do more damage than normal attacks, and are executed faster.

Classes

There are 8 different classes which include Warrior, Knight, Craftsman, Mage, Jester, Hunter, Priest and Beginner.

RF Online

RF Online, originally named 'Rising Force', (Korean: 라이징 포스) is a 3D MMORPG developed by CCR. The first version of the game was released in South Korea and was later followed by Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, Portuguese and English translations. The North American/European version of the game launched its retail phase on February 21, 2006. A mixture of science fiction and classic fantasy, RF Online is set in a distant planet in the Novus system where magic exists alongside high technology. Like most MMORPGs it follows the typical fantasy setting complete with swords and sorcery, but it also emphasizes the three-way Race vs. Race vs. Race (RvRvR) concept and modern/futuristic technology such as mecha and nuclear weapons.
The NA/EU game service was brought down as of November 9, 2008, due to licence expiration. However, the developers, CCR have started to relaunch the game hosting it themselves for NA/EU. In August 2012, RF Online was confirmed to relaunch stateside via the publisher GamesCampus. RFO is currently a free-to-play game.

As with many MMORPGs, the player will select one race and fight monsters to gain experience points. RFO is populated with many different monsters across many areas.
At the start of the game, a character will be led through an in-game guide of the basic commands for the game. From there, the character will be exposed to a series of quests which will familiarize him/her with their character's headquarters. As the character progresses in level, his/her quests may take them out to aggressive maps, where he/she will be exposed to the player killing Features of the game. One quest given in the Sette Desert on low levels makes players aware of constant presence and danger of enemy races.

Races

There are 3 character races which the player can choose: Bellato, Cora and Accretia. each having a unique race specialty.
Bellato are small elves which use Light Force (magic that includes healing and support buffs), physical combat, and ranged combat. Their race specialty is MAU (massive armor units). Goliath(melee) and Catapult(ranged) type, useable by Engineer character class.
Cora are elves which use Dark Force (including strong offensive debuffs and buffs), physical combat, and ranged combat.Their race specialty are Animus, summoned creatures that provides offence(Isis,Hecate), defence(Paimon) or support(Inana) useable by Summoner character class.
Accretia are Cyborgs which do not use Force. They are balanced between physical combat and ranged combat. With their technology level they specialize in rocket launchers(useable by all class), siege kits(Striker class are specialized in using rocket launchers and siege kits) and grenade launchers(enables use of buffs and debuffs, but Engineer class can use higher level grenade launchers).
Every race has their own special sub-classes of characters to play based on warrior, ranger, specialist and each race's special classes. It is also possible to cross-class a character within the races for a wide variety of options.

 Political System

Each race is led by the archon, a player voted into power by other players. Below the archon are four councillors. These councillors are determined based on the number of votes received during their run for archonship. Archon positions last one week, at the end of which voting will commence again.
As of Episode 2, Giga 1.5 (Crimson Dawn), four additional councillors were introduced. These four are assigned by the archon.
In addition, each position is granted special abilities to help their race. These abilities range from increases in defense, increases in attack, or affect auras to increase the statistics of racial members around the councilor.
In the event the number of archon aspirants is not enough to populate the council position, the top racial characters (meaning the players with the highest PvP points in the Race) will be placed into the vacant council positions by default. Racial standings can be seen by checking with the respective race manager NPCs.

Economy

The game's economy can be divided into two parts - production and consumption. The mine is a new field where resources are produced as a part of and in support of economic activity. Mining for minerals and processing the products of these produce many kinds of items. These form the basis for conflict within the mines.

Chip War

The battle for resources is actualized in an all-out war among the three races termed as Chip War. Chip War happens three times in a day, where the winning race obtains the right to control the guardian of the mines - the dreaded Holystone Keeper.
The war is led by the respective racial leaders, whose goal is to break at least one control chip owned by the opposing race. Once broken, the player who has dealt the last blow on the chip must touch base at the center of the mine caverns, to earn his race an extra 60 minutes of mining time guarded by the Holystone Keeper.
As of Episode 2, Giga 1 (Crimson Dawn), the Holystone Keeper will be vulnerable for 30 minutes after a control chip has been broken. The winning race must defend the guardian, or risk losing his guardianship over players who will opt to mine for resources until the next chip war. In addition, only characters who have been able to obtain a HolyMental Scanner during the battle will be recognized by the guardian as a valid member of the controlling race. Connectivity issues, however, have been seen to cause problems with this new feature.

PVP

Unlike most MMORPGs, RF Online revolves around PvP (Player vs Player). Only the racial headquarters, the settlement towns and select portal locations, are considered as safe areas from enemy races. Player killing comes into play because of the battle for resources between the three races. By default, opposing races members may engage in combat at any point in time on aggressive maps. Same race players may not engage in combat, unless by virtue of an item called the Chaos Potion, or during a special in-race competition called the Guild Circle Zone Scramble, also known as Guild Wars.
