Counter-Strike Online

Counter-Strike Online (CSO or CSOL) is a Counter-Strike game targeted towards Asia's gaming market released in 2008. It is based on Counter-Strike and was developed by Nexon Co. Ltd. with oversight from license-holder Valve Corporation. It uses a micropayment model that is managed by a custom version of the Steam back-end.
Counter-Strike Online features some old game modes from the previous Counter-Strikes and new ones: Original mode, Death-match, Team Death-match, Zombie: The Original, Zombie: The Mutation, Zombie United Mode, Zombie: The Hero, Zombie 3: Origin, Gun Game, Challenge Mode, Zombie Survival Mode, Human Scenario, VIP Mode, fun mode, and Zombie scenario.
The game also features a variety of additions over the International Counter-Strike, such as an introduction to female characters, numerous new weapons and skins for previous weapons. Most of the weapons are "locked" by default, so virtual cash or in-game points are essential to purchase them. Most special weapons, skins, power-ups, etc. can be purchased with cash points. A variety of other special items can also be bought with in-game points as well.
The new gameplay modes: Zombie Mode: The Original, Zombie: The Mutation and Zombie: The Hero are played between two teams, zombies and humans. In the Zombie Modes, everyone starts out as a human and gets 20 seconds to buy, hide and/or fortify their position, then a certain random player becomes a zombie, depending on the number of players present. When a zombie attacks a human, they become a zombie, and this keeps going until the time runs out, in which case the humans win or if all the humans become zombies. There are a variety or different kinds of zombies, which are the Regular Zombie, Light Zombie, Heavy Zombie, Psycho Zombie, Voodoo Zombie. These zombies are only available in Zombie: The Mutation, Zombie: The Hero, Zombie 3: Origin and Zombie United Mode. While, Deimos, Ganymede, Stamper, Banshee and Jiang Shi are available in Zombie: The Hero, Zombie 3: Origin and Zombie United Mode. In Zombie: The Original there is only one kind of zombie. The type of zombie that this is varies on where the Counter-Strike Online version that you are using is released. For example, the Singapore version has the normal zombie while China has the Psycho Zombie. Each of these has their own abilities. For Zombie: The Hero, it basically holds the same gameplay as its precede, except that a firepower bar for the human team and anger bar for the zombie team are added. After 20 seconds, a random person on the human team will be chosen as a "Hero" (Andre) or "Heroine" (Kate), depending on their character gender. The "Hero" and "Heroine" will have the strongest unique weaponry (not purchasable) in the entire game. Each kill from his or any other weapon levels up the firepower strength by one level (there are ten levels total). Each level increases damage done by humans 10%. In all the Zombie modes, random players are selected to be the first zombies or "Origin" zombies. These zombies have higher health and different models than zombies infected after the Origin.
Zombie 3: Origin was released on July 4 in South Korea with it released in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan on July 6. The gameplay is the same as Zombie Mode 3 except the gameplay has been balanced. Three new zombies were released as well that day. They are Banshee, Stamper and Jiang Shi. The banshee has the power to pull players towards her then turning them into a zombie when they are close. Stamper can put maidens to block bullets and can also use it to perform "Coffin Jump. Jiang Shi has the same power as the psycho one, but is slower and hard to target by humans.
The second new gameplay mode is Zombie Scenario Mode, which pits up to 10 players against increasingly harder waves of AI controlled zombies. You are able to buy extra health and damage if you have enough money. The levels keep getting harder with zombies having more health and abilities. A new zombie is revealed in this mode and called Zombie Boss. He is over twice the size of the host Heavy Zombie, and holds a weapon that deals more damage than a normal zombie attack. This mode was released December 9, 2009. Nexon Released a new map called "Last Clue" on January 27. There are only 2 rounds for this map. The first round requires all players to break through obstacles while battling attacking zombies at the same time. Unlike the other Zombie Scenario maps, players can spawn at the nearest checkpoint if they die. Once all the obstacles have been broken, a second round starts. This round presents a difficult Alien Boss with many different attacks. After a set amount of time, host zombies start appearing, creating an even harder challenge. In May 2011, Nexon released a new map called "Dead End." There are 2 rounds. This map was intended for players over level 30 and up. Players under level 30 were denied access to the map in the first week of its release. After a week, players under level 30 had access to the map. On October 18 a new map was released with a sea monster boss, Dione.
Human Scenario is a player and bot fight. Bots are of the "Vanguard Troops" that have come to clean up the infection with leaving no loose ends. Players are up against four kinds of enemies; Trooper, Ghost, Lancer and Titans. Enemy weapons can not be picked up while fighting as they are part of the models. There is an ability to place a sentry gun anywhere and also an ability call in airstrikes. In the last round, players have to defeat a new kind of Boss which is easy to avoid, but is smarter. The Boss, RAH-66 Comanche, is a helicopter that fires missiles and gatling guns. In the 4th map made, instead of a chopper as the boss, there is a plane similar to the Avatar movie helicopter.
The Challenge Mode is a race between players, in two different kinds of maps. Players cannot attack each other, instead they aim for achieving the best time. There are jumping maps, with both stable and moving platforms, and running maps, with many walls and thin platforms to run on. In some places on the map, checkpoints are placed, respawning someone there if they die, and telling them how faster/slower they are versus the leader.
On March 24 Nexon released a new mode from the original Counter-Strike called VIP Mode. The Counter-Terrorists try to escort the VIP safely to a designated safety area or eliminate all Terrorist forces in the map. The Terrorists are to assassinate the VIP before he gets to the chopper or wait until time runs out. The map “Oil rig” was the first of many new VIP maps to be released. The VIP carries double armor and only a USP with 24 bullets.
On May 25, Nexon released a new game mode called World Cup 2010 in conjunction with the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Includes 2 new soccer maps, 2 football types and new character skins. The main objective is basically to score points by kicking the ball into the oppositions goal. Players are allowed to purchase items and stab enemies during the gameplay.
In Counter-Strike Online, the game itself is free, but some weapons are bought using points purchased with real money. These weapons usually expire after a certain amount of time but sometimes can be purchased permanently during a promotion. Certain weapons and items can be purchased with points that are gained by getting kills, completing objectives, etc.

Sequel

On April 5, 2012, Nexon and Valve announced a partnership to develop Counter-Strike: Online 2, which is to be based on an enhanced Source engine, and will offer enhanced graphics, powerful impact physics, and more new features. It has not been confirmed if it will have any connection to the newly released Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

CrossFire

CrossFire (FPS Game) is a South Korean-made tactical first person online PC Game developed by South Korean FPS SmileGate. Neowiz is the Korean publisher of Cross Fire Korea, and deals with SmileGate directly. All other publishers must go through Neowiz to get to the developers, SmileGate. The game was released in China by Tencent, with tencent as the exclusive agent service company. Tencent operates the game through the internet, with service areas covered and the networks supported by China Telecom and China Netcom. The tests for its software bugs were started publicly on April 2008.
CrossFire is a first-person shooter that features two Mercenary corporations named the "Black List" and "Global Risk", fighting each other in an epic global conflict. Players assume the role of either a Black List or Global Risk mercenary, joining an online team that must work together to complete objective-based scenarios. With the exception of the Zombie mode, each mode can support a maximum of 16 players, each divided into an 8-man team.
There are more than ten online modes: Team Death Match, Search and Destroy, Elimination Match, Ghost Mode, Free-For-All, Mutation Mode, Escape Mode, Hero Mode, advanced version of the Hero Mode, the Hero Mode X and Zombie mode.
Based on their performance in-game, players will receive experience points and be promoted through various Military Ranks. The lowest rank is trainee first class, the highest is Marshall. Players also have the ability to customize their character's equipment and appearance through CrossFire's in-game item shop and from the Mall in the website.
CrossFire is free to download and playable online. It has a free currency which is called Game Points (GP), which are earned through playing and completing matches, buying premium items that grant bonus GP, or fulfilling certain missions. Premium and special items like modified weapons can only be bought using points which are obtained using real money in the form of cards or online transactions. The content and the name of the points tends to vary from version to version.

Modes of play

Crossfire features several game modes, each with unique maps and rules.
  • Team Deathmatch: Players must work together as a team to kill the enemies a designated number of times, or get more kills in a designated time limit. Depending on the map chosen, players will either re-spawn in their base area or a random area. The host may set a certain number of kills to be reached. There are five different amounts one can choose from (40 kills, 60 kills, 80 Kills, 100 Kills and 150 kills). The host may also chose a time limit on the game (5 minutes, 8 mins, 10 mins, 12 mins) and restrict weapons to either snipers or melee only. When the time ends, the team with the most kills wins. There are also some maps that only allow 1 weapon type (The "Prison" map for example, only allows sniper-type weapons by default).
  • Search & Destroy (S&D)/Destruction mode: Black List's objective is to plant a C4 charge in one of two areas in the map and either wait for the charge to detonate or kill all of the Global Risk players within the time limit. Global Risk's objective is to eliminate all Black List players defuse the bomb if it is ever planted or alternatively, prevent Black List form planting the bomb within the match's time limit. Players here do not respawn after being killed while the round is still going. Rounds range from 5–12 minutes.
  • Elimination/Wipe-Out: Similar to team death match only players don't respawn when killed, and it runs on a basis of rounds instead of kills and a time limit. In some maps, players start only with their melee weapons and must pick up guns pre-set in the map. Rounds range from 5 to 12 minutes and each round is approximately 3 minutes long.
  • Ghost Mode: Similar to the objectives of S&D but all Black List mercenaries are cloaked in invisibility but are only armed with their melee weapons, while all Global Risk mercenaries are fully visible, but can use all available weapons. Global Risk can locate invisible Black List when in their vicinity as they emit a heavy breathing sound, footsteps, splashing in the water, and ghosts also become significantly visible while moving.
  • Free for All: A mode where there is no teams with optional weapon restrictions, the objective is to simply kill as many players as possible. Players constantly re-spawn at different locations. The round ends when a player reaches the kill quota for the match or the timer runs out.
  • Mutation Mode/Zombie mode: 1–2 players are infected and turned into mutants 20 seconds into the round. An infected mutant will begin with 4000–6000 HP. When a person is hit or attacked by a mutant, they become a mutant with 2000-3000 HP. Players can evolve through mutating other players or absorbing dead mutants, which increases max HP and have an special ability. When the time is up or all mutants are dead, the soldiers win. If all the soldiers become mutants or die, the mutants win. Mutants are flung backwards when shot. Mutation Mode for the US, Canada and UK was released on 12th February and differs slightly from the other versions. Instead of the default "Red Zombie" (Dread, which must be bought), players start with the "Green Zombie" (Slug) which must be bought on other versions.
  • Escape Mode: A game mode where Black List team must "escape" through a portal a certain number of times while the Global Risk team tries to prevent them. There are walls and doors that can be destroyed to make the escaping team's job easier or is a requirement to escape, at half time the teams switch sides (if the team finishes escaping early, then they immediately switch sides. If they don't complete their goal, then the other team only has to finish what the other team started).
  • Hero Mode: The game plays mosty like Mutation mode, but features a "Hero" character. 20 seconds into the round, one to three players randomly will become mutants and one will become the "Hero". Hero's main weapon is an FN FAL with a grenade launcher with plenty of ammunition and also can take two hits from a mutant before turning. The downside to being the hero is that they cannot hide effectively like regular teammates as there is constantly a marker named "hero" above him, which can be seen by everyone. A mutant taking damage to a certain amount of HP will acquire Rage which not only counts for a evolution stage but leads to different level of evolutions. Also, mutants here will continue to respawn when killed unless they are killed with a headshot. The game ends when either the soldiers survive until the round ends or they are all turned into mutants.
  • Zombie Mode/Zombie Apocalypse/Zombie Land Mode: A drastically new game mode that involves AI, rather than players, as opponents that pits 4 players in a Zombie Apocalypse-esque scenario. Zombie Apocalypse consists of a team at four Global Risk mercenraries trying to survive a fixed amount of rounds with a boss at the final round. The enemies featured in the game are a variety of "zombified" Black List mercenaries and mutants, each kind having their a unique characteristic (The "sprinter" for example could run rather than stagger like regular zombies, while OMOH, SAS, and SWAT zombies could use guns to attack the player from range). Also, along with the usual GP and EXP reward at the end of the game, each player is rewarded with a box that contains a 2-3 random items. What kind of box they will receive depends on their score at the end of the game and the higher, the better the items. The game ends once the players survive through the rounds and kill the final boss in the map or if all the players are killed and cannot respawn.
  • Hero Mode X: The newest iteration of the Hero mode. Much like HM, random players are turned into mutants after 20 seconds and one of them are chosen to be the "Terminator" (Also called the "Xeno" in the N/A and European release) which has 6000 HP and can infect players with ranged lightning bolt attacks, making it a rather daunting foe for soldiers. Also, unlike in HM, mutants can only be prevented from respawning by being killed with a melee attack rather than a headshot. In this mode, mutants lose life extremely quickly as the starting damage multiplier is 250× the power. The premise of this mode is that once only 2-3 players are left, they are turned into Commandos, which cannot be infected like regular soldiers and possess dual Kukri knives, which does massive damage to mutants and prevent them from respawning altogether. The round ends either with all players infected/killed or if all the mutants are killed and cannot respawn.
  • Elite/Bounty Mode: This mode with the first given money and battle results, similar to the concept of Counter Strike. When the battle begins, players can only use their pistol equipped in their inventory and must buy other weapons using their cash. Cash can be gained by killing/planting/defusing. This mode is like S&D Pro.
  • Wave Mode: This is a new team based mode, where both teams must destroy the opposition's defense towers. This is the first mode where you can pick a class (Demolition, Juggernaut, Medic, Marksman and Blaster) before joining the room. Each class is different and has its own unique skills. This mode also introduces NPC's, airstrikes, mortar bombs and energy transmitters.

 Weapons

Crossfire features a wide arsenal of weapons based on real life models, each separated into eight categories, some of the examples are: Machine guns, including the M-60, Colt M16A3 LMG, RPK, and Gatling Gun, Assault Rifles, including the M4A1 (and many variants), M16, AK-47, AK-74, Steyr AUG, FN-FAL SCAR and FN-F2000, Submachine guns, including the MP5, MP7, TDI Vector, SM-2 Veresk, and Uzi, Sniper rifles, including the DSR-1, AWM, and Draugnov, Pistols, including the M9, P-15, Desert Eagle, and Anaconda, Shotguns, including the M37 Stakeout, SPAS-12, and the XM1014, Melee, including an axe, combat knife, and shovel, and Grenades.
Each category is functionally similar to their real world descriptions with their own strengths and weaknesses (Ex. Machine guns are powerful and capable of laying down heavy fire but suffer from heavy weight and long reload times, Submachine guns are very effective at close range while very weak at long range...etc.).
Weapons often have many variations, including different skins which give them different attributes. In addition, the re-skinned versions are often more rare. For example, the M4A1 Custom features a more accurate, lighter gun with a scope, silencer, and 5 more bullets of ammunition.

Characters

Characters are the avatar of players and is what they will look like while playing in the game. A note is that while all characters are visually unique from each other, they are all functionally the same with no real advantages or disadvantages from each other in terms of stats, apart from a few limited-edition characters who are, for example; able to see better through smoke or reduces the visual incapacitating effects of flash bang grenades.
The characters featured in Crossfire is a combination of both real and fictional Special Forces groups. The real groups featured are: The Russian OMOH, the LAPD SWAT, the British SAS, the German GSG9, the Korean 707th Special Mission Unit, the United Nations Special Forces, and the American Navy SEALs. Each character also has both a Black List and Global Risk variant. Some characters are bought with GP, while some are bought with premium currency.
There are also mutant characters for the Mutation/Hero modes, which unlike regular game characters, each have unique abilities and appearances.

Alliance of Valiant Arms

Alliance of Valiant Arms (Korean: 아바) (abbreviated as A.V.A) is a free-to-play online first-person shooter video game, developed by Red Duck Inc. and is using the Unreal Engine 3.
In North America and Europe, the game service is provided by Aeria Games, in the People's Republic of China, Tencent Games runs the server, and in Taiwan, it is run by WarTown. In Japan the game is hosted on Gamechu.
On June 15, 2011, A.V.A became available for download through Steam. However, it currently isn't available in some regions and some in-game items (particularly certain weapons) are only available to players in certain countries such as South Korea and Japan.
Players will join either the EU forces or NRF forces and attempt to complete their mission objective or eliminate the opposing team. There are 3 classes available in A.V.A, point man, rifleman, and sniper. A point man enjoys a quicker reload time and faster move speed, while a rifleman gains more ammo and the ability to hold more, along with heavier armor, and a sniper is allowed to use a sniper rifle and can fire shots that kill multiple targets. Each has their own advantage and disadvantage against other classes. Players are able to choose which class to play next during the game and also acquire Class Skills to further enhance unique characteristics of each class. The Team Fortress 2 weapon "The Black Rose" is also awarded to players who complete the Alliance of Valiant Arms achievement 1st One Down by creating a character and playing their first game. In addition, this achievement will unlock the Holy Mackerel melee weapon for use in Alliance of Valiant Arms.
Alliance of Valiant Arms uses a player ranking system based on total experience and common military ranks. Players may gain experience by playing through various game modes and completing objectives. Incentives to rank up include the ability to unlock and purchase various armor, equipment, and guns. The main in-game currency is the Euro, which can be used for purchases in the shop and to enter Capsule Shop drawings, which are lotteries for rare equipment. Players can also purchase equipment from the shop using Aeria Points (AP), which can be bought by the player using real-world money. Some items in the game can only be purchased using AP. Most items in the shop can be bought for an expendable or permanent duration. Weapons have characteristics including Damage, Range, Accuracy, Stability, Mobility, ROF (Rate of Fire), and Ammo. These can be customized by the player through purchase of various add-ons.

Game modes

There are currently 10 game modes in the Aeria Games version of A.V.A:
  • Annihilation - Players will be pit against each other in two teams that will attempt to reach a pre-set score, similarly to Team Deathmatch. Alternatively, the team with the highest score once the time runs out will win.
  • Demolition - To complete the mission, the EU forces must plant the bomb at one of the two bomb points while the NRF forces are tasked with stopping them. The EU forces will win if the bomb is detonated while the NRF must disarm the bomb if it has been planted to win. Alternatively, one team will win if the opposing team is eliminated (if the bomb has not been set). If the bomb is set the NRF must either A) just defuse the bomb by defending their defuser or B) eliminate the EU Forces AND disable the bomb. In either case the bomb must be defused once it has been set.
  • Escort - The EU forces must escort a tank past enemy lines and repair it if struck down, while the NRF forces will be tasked with preventing this, usually by constantly taking the tank down with RPG's.
  • Convoy - The EU forces must transport a designated object to the target area to win. The NRF forces must prevent the EU forces from taking the object.
  • Domination - Both teams compete for domination over a target. The team with higher domination gauge or the one in control of the target when both sides have the same gauge will win.
  • Free For All - Players are pit against each-other. The match ends when one player reaches the pre-set score or time runs out in which the player with the highest score wins.
  • Cross Steal - Both teams are tasked with retrieving the enemy's launch key and returning it to their own base, while defending their own launch key.
  • Infection - Each match will begin with a countdown. During the countdown, players must set up a defensive position or plan a strategy to combat against the zombies. When the countdown is up, one or more players (depending on the total number of players in the match) are transformed into zombies randomly. Human players must survive until the time is up, while the zombies must infect all human players.
  • AI Mission - A group of 4 or 6 players are automatically assigned to the EU to survive and/or complete mission objectives while fighting against AI-Controlled NRF.
  • Escape - EU troops try to escape to a waiting boat while NRF troops try to stop them. The round ends when the opposing team is wiped out, or when one soldier makes it to the boat.

Point Blank

Point Blank is an online tactical first-person shooter developed by Zepetto, a South Korean company.

Point Blank is a fast paced online first-person shooter, which is very similar in terms of gameplay to Counter-Strike. In Point Blank, players join either the Free Rebels or CT-Force team (the Free Rebels is based on the Terrorists from Counter-Strike, while CT-Force is based on the Counter-Terrorists). Each team attempts to complete their mission objective and/or eliminate the opposing team. Each round starts with the two teams spawning simultaneously, usually at opposite ends of the map from each other.
A player can choose to play as one of four different default character models (Acid and Sharp Eyes for CT-Force and Aurochs and Tarantula for the Free Rebels). There are four purchasable deluxe character models: Fennec and Pit Viper for CT-Force or Cheshire and Shadow for the Free Rebels. Players are generally given a few seconds before the round begins or before the respawning to change the weapons and/or equipment.
Game points are awarded for winning a round, losing a round, killing an enemy, making a headshot, and killing other team's players in a row, etc.
There are two background stories. Project Blackout is an alternate background used with the North American version of the game.

Point Blank

In the mid-20th century, the new nation of Koroga was a developing country. It grew rapidly and in less than twenty years became one of the most powerful nations in the world. During the rapid growth, the country had to face industrialization, growth in individualism and a dwindling population. When several national policies to increase the population failed, the government turned to immigration for the answer. The nation enjoyed the cheap labour and increases in population; however, there are now increasing conflicts between the natives and the new immigrants. The natives enjoy the prosperity the immigrants bring, but treat them as a servant class with few rights and no legal or political representation. The immigrants have tried to use passive means to express their grievances and gain influence with the more liberal-thinking natives, but government oppression has made it impossible. The heightened tensions have forced the natives to crack down on immigrant unrest and in turn has encouraged the immigrants to support the more radical political groups. The increasing conflict of interest caused to divide people between the native CT-Force (Blue Team) and the immigrant Free Rebels (Red Team).
The CT-Force's mission is to protect the native social order and its privileges. To this end, it has declared an all-out war against the militant Free Rebels. Meanwhile the Free Rebels have been trying to overthrow the establishment. Some wish to force the government to recognise their demands, some want to replace it with a different form of government or a more diverse social order, while others just want to destroy it utterly.

 Project Blackout

The nation of Korogese is crumbling. Although a technologically-advanced industrial world power, its government is weak, ineffective, corrupt, and divided along sectarian lines. Its swelling decaying cities are ruled by powerful criminal gangs. Its corporations have a great deal of influence over its democratically-elected government and the gap between rich and poor is increasing. Prosperity and a recent era of global peace has made its citizens willing to trade their rights for comfort and security.
The corporations have the view that they know what is best. They hope to create a social utopia in which free market forces will control society and the political system will be reduced to figureheads. One part of this goal was to replace The Corps, Korogese's volunteer and conscript defense forces, with a corporate-trained-and-controlled paramilitary mercenary army called Aegis Incorporated. With the support of anti-military and anti-war activist groups financed by the corporations, the government disbanded The Corps and handed over its facilities and equipment to Aegis Inc. This was followed by a series of laws restricting personal freedoms that were supposedly enacted to combat the rising crime rate but were really created to aid in controlling Korogese's citizenry.
A large faction within The Corps went underground and hopes to overthrow the corporate-run oligarchy that runs Korogese and replace it with a true democracy. Through support from civilian anti-corporation groups, funding from wealthy patrons, and black market connections in the criminal underworld The Corps built up an impressive and well-armed underground army. They plan to wear down Aegis with a guerrilla war campaign, strike at the corporate leadership cabal that runs the oligarchy, and eliminate any civilian collaborators and traitors who support them.
The player will have to choose between the sides. Aegis Inc. (the Blue Team) supports law and order, but represents tyranny and oppression. The Corps (the Red Team) supports democracy and freedom, but represents indiscriminate violence and anarchy. The side that survives the conflict will impose their social views on the masses.

Development

Point Blank was originally developed by South Korean software company Zepetto, who licensed the game to other companies. It has been launched in South Korea (published by NCSoft in March 2008), Thailand (published by NCTrue, February 2009), Indonesia (published by PT. Kreon, July 2009), Russia (by INNOVA, January 2010), Brazil (published by OnGame, August 2010), China (by Shanda in 4th Qt., 2010), North America (in December 2010), Turkey (by Nfinity games in August 2010) and Italy (by Accelon Italy in April, 2011).
Each local edition has different weapons, skins, and options to meet local tastes. For instance, the North American variant has a different backstory and is called Project Blackout. The available weapons lists are different for each version and developers add or drop weapons depending on popularity.

Game modes

There are 7 game modes and more than 24 maps. There are more than two modes available for some maps.
  • Deathmatch:
    • This can be played one of two ways. 1) The round lasts until a set number of characters on one side are killed. The team that reaches the total number of kills first wins. 2) The round lasts until a set time limit runs out. The team with the most kills when the round ends is the winner. Dead characters are respawned until the round ends. On several maps, the maximum number of player is 4vs4 instead of 8vs8.
  • Bomb Mission:
    • Red Team must try to either emplace and detonate a bomb in a designated area or kill all the Blue Team defenders. Blue Team must defend the objective, intercept all Red Team bombers, and/or defuse the emplaced bomb. Dead characters do not get respawned for the duration of the round. The several version of Point Blank call this "Explosive Mission"
  • Destroy:
    • One team must destroy the target objective in the enemy’s area while defending or protecting their target objective. If neither objective is destroyed before the time limit is up, the team that scored the most damage on their opponent's objective wins. Dead characters are respawned until the round ends.
  • Eliminate:
    • Annihilate the opposing team. Dead characters do not get respawned for the duration of the round.
  • AI Challenge:
    • A practice mode in which 1-4 players of one faction fend off 1-8 "Artificial Intelligence"-run characters (or bots) of the opposing faction. The AI's difficulty can be set from 1 (easy) to 10 (impossible). Since it is for practice, Kills and Deaths scored in this mode do not count towards a player's career Kill/Death totals.
  • Defense Mission:
    • The Red Team must destroy two Panther Class Tanks of Blue Team while Blue Team must protect their Panther Class Tanks. This is different from Destroy Mission while in Destroy Mission, both team have similar objective. Only "Black Panther" map currently running this mode.
  • Dino Mode:
    • A "Humans vs Dinosaurs" mode. In this mode, the Blue Team play as the Humans while the Red Team will play as the Dinosaurs; the first on the list usually plays as a T-Rex, while the others as smaller, nimble, Velociraptor-like dinosaurs. Other dinosaurs with ranged attacks, for example, can be purchased. This game was called as Ally Mission in Game modes selection.
